Dates and tuition for the 2012 season:

In light of challenging economic times for many families, the Pemi Board of Directors voted not to raise tuition and instead to keep the 2012 tuition level with last year. In keeping with our over-riding educational mission, Pemi is not "bottom line" driven and has made every effort to keep tuition increases appropriate and manageable over the years.

Full Session: Saturday, June 23–Saturday, August 11. $7600.00

First Session: Saturday, June 23–Tuesday, July 17. $5000.00
Second Session: Tuesday, July 17–Saturday, August 11. $5000.00

Pemi West (ages 16-18): Tues., June 26–Sun., July 22. $4250.00

How to Apply

1) Click on "APPLY" - top right of page.

2) Enter your email address and password if you know it, or you'll create a password if you are new to our system. You are already in our system if your son has attended, or if you've requested information, or if someone else has given us your name. In that case, your password will be sent to you via the link on the page. If you have forgotten your password, click on "retrieve password" and it will be sent to your inbox immediately.

3) Have names and phone numbers of two emergency contacts on hand. This is required information

4) Upload a recent, close-up photo of your son if you have one on the computer you are using.

An application is considered complete when we have received:

1) the application submitted online

2) deposit of $500.00 per camper, payable by credit card or by check. Note that an application is considered "active" only after the deposit has been received. Checks should be mailed to: **new address** Camp Pemi / PO Box 631 / North Conway, NH 03860.

3) photo, either uploaded to the application, emailed to dottie@camppemi.com, or mailed to Dottie Reed / 316 Glendale Street / Carlisle, PA 17013.

4) for campers new to Pemi, a recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or coach (not a family member) that addresses a boy's readiness to live in a residential community, and which will help us with cabin and counselor placement. Download guidelines for submitting a camper recommendation.

Please note:

The $500.00 deposit is non-refundable after December 1, except in the following circumstances:
• if your child is on the waiting list and a space does not become available;
• if illness or injury prevents your child from attending camp;
• or if you apply for Financial Aid and we are unable to meet your needs.

Full Tuition is due by May 1

Pemi offers a tuition discount for siblings of $300 per brother. Tuition is paid via check (not credit card). An invoice for tuition is mailed February 1 requesting payment of at least 1/2 tuition due February 15. A second invoice is mailed April 1 with tuition balance due by May 1. Tuition is non-refundable after May 1, except in the case of documented illness/injury or mandatory summer school, or if Pemi is able to fill the vacated spot within that age group. Camp Pemi expects families to be responsible for the full tuition if withdrawal is made after May 1. If Camp Pemi fills the vacated space within that age group, parents will be relieved of this financial obligation. It is not possible to refund tuition or to make any reduction when entering late or leaving early, except in the case of withdrawal due to illness, in which case one half of the fee of the remaining part of the season will be refunded.

Financial Aid

If attendance at Camp Pemi is contingent on receiving financial aid:

* check the appropriate box on the application form

* Download and complete our Financial Aid Application. Submit this form along with a copy of the first two pages of your 2010 Federal Tax Return by December 1st for February 1st notification, or by March 1st for April 1st notification.
