Camp Pemigewassett

Camp Pemigewassett Daily Schedule

Each and every day at Pemi, boys learn crucial community-living skills as a member of a cabin and of the camp as a whole. From reveille to taps, boys live and learn with their peers in a variety of cooperative endeavors ranging from cabin inspection to occupations. Our dedicated and well-trained counseling staff provides campers with top-flight instruction each day. We also offer daily athletic contests for boys wishing to compete against surrounding camps in nine or more sports. In addition to the structured instructional and competitive time in camp, boys have multiple options to explore the White Mountains on day and overnight trips.

What makes a Pemi Day unique, however, is the opportunity afforded boys to explore and enjoy their unspoiled natural surroundings. Whether it be building a dam in the stream or making a butterfly net in the Nature Lodge, we hope to cultivate in all members of the camp family a sincere love of nature and a keen sense of responsibility for the world around us. As the sun sets over Pemi Hill and the day winds to a close, boys returning home to their cabins can reflect on a day of significant and varied accomplishments.  A typical daily schedule at Camp Pemi
